Another cat from a cemetery in Rome. This time, a rather shy one that immediately hid behind a gate after watching me approaching.

A cat in a cemetery in Rome. He approached me to get some strokes and kept sniffing around my stuff. Since it was another hot summer day, I assumed he might be thirsty, so I got my water bottle out and poured water into my hand.
And he was thirsty! First, he drank from my hand and then pretty much from the horizontal bottle I held. After that, he went off.

This cat is taking a nap! I love taking naps but there are only a few chances to take them, like on weekends. It was late afternoon and she was all snuggled up in a small garden in front of a house. She just couldn’t be bothered to look at passers-by.

This grumpy fellow was sitting at the window of a cat cafe! Not very welcoming. Maybe it got tired of random customers taking photos. Maybe it was protecting the other cats inside the cafe. Since my friend is allergic to cats, I had no opportunity to get inside and meet him.
